The Peace and Justice club helps those around us who are in need. The members of the club organize dances and fundraisers in support of local initiatives, and all profits are given to charity.
I talked to Emma Gray, a new member of PJ’s, about what her quad is currently putting together. At the moment, they are organizing an event called Coffee House, where people can watch performances by their fellow Raiders while indulging in delicious food. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Red Cross’ initiative to help those in Haiti affected by the recent hurricane.
You can sign up to audition for Coffee House outside of the cafeteria. Tickets will be sold soon: $5.00 in advance, or $7.00 at the door. Hope to see you there!
