The Walk With Jesus occurred at Jean Vanier Secondary School on May 4, and it was very successful. As the rain held off, high schools in the Halton Catholic District School Board and their feeder schools attended and walked for 20 minutes to the Velodrome, a cycling track, where they enjoyed their lunches and a mass by Rev. Con O’Mahoney, who led the mass at STA the day before. A school choir also entertained walkers during lunch. A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Rerecich for helping get STA ready for the walk and organizing materials and forms to ensure that everything went smoothly and according to plan.
