A Girl Called Jaime

Wherever you are, whatever you are thinking of, I’d like to introduce to you the one, the only, Jaime Adams! At the moment, Jaime is in Grade 12. When she graduates, she would like to study Early Childhood Education, or ECE, at Niagara College. She would also like to become an elementary school teacher.

But aside from the whispers of the fast-approaching future, Jaime loves to sing. When asked what the most interesting thing about her is, she stated: “I can sing.” Her favourite song is “Valerie,” by Amy Winehouse, and she also mentioned that Ms. Winehouse is “one of the most amazing singers of all time.” Stephen King novels are Jaime’s favourite type of books, and she also loves horror movies, specifically, “Haunting in Connecticut,” and “Nightmare on Elm Street.”

And finally, Jaime mentioned that if she could go anywhere in the world, she’d go to Italy. She said she’d travel to the city of Florence, where her great-grandmother lives. The future is uncertain, but I wish Jaime the best of luck with becoming a teacher, singing, watching horror movies, reading Stephen King novels, and going to Italy. And in the words of Elvis Presley: “People ask me where I got my singing style. I didn’t copy my style from anybody.”
